Illustration skill explorations that I created as a personal project to learn new digital brush techniques.

PROMPT

This collection of caricatures are stylized portraits of people in my life. I set out to explore a new illustration style with real-life models in order to practice drawing with digital brushes on my tablet.

IDEATION

I began by researching different styles of caricature drawing. I exaggerated features of their faces and aimed to accomplish a "cute" version of their physique and personality.

Using pastel tones and chalk-like textures, I accomplished a child-like version of these couples.
